Rice-Make Own Swatch Color

How to make your own swatch

Open a new document.

Click on the rectangle tool on the left in the

tool bar.
Create a rectangular shape.

Fill it with color.
Go to the swatch window on the right.

Make sure that your shape is selected with

the direct selection tool (black arrow).

Click new swatch at the bottom of the swatch

window.

Double click your new swatch in the window.

Another window will appear to name

your swatch and change the color.
Play with the CMYK color arrows

to achieve the desired color

for your shape(s).

Keep going until you get your color.

Click OK and

you have created your own swatch.
Now you can apply it to any shape.
