Hello, Internet! My name is Matthew McClain and I'm a Junior seeking a CommDes degree here at Texas State. I grew up on the north side of San Antonio and transferred here from University of Texas at San Antonio about three semesters ago. Major upgrade! UTSA didn't have any graphic design program so I was stuck pursing a studio art degree. I feel a lot more comfortable here at Texas State than I did at UTSA. I'm a shameless nerd at heart. I'm into western comic books, terrible sci-fi movies and all manner of vidya games. I picked Goudy's Kennerley Old Style for a number of reasons, but mostly because I think it looks really classy without being too stuffy or aristocratic. I look forward to spending the rest of the semester learning the ins and outs of graphic design with the rest of you!
