Taylor Cole - Courier

My name is Taylor Cole,
This is my fourth year in college, but it is only my second year at Texas State. I've always loved to create and to design, but it has only been in the past couple of years that I have become much more serious about it. I was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. Several years ago my parents moved to Austin to allow my step-dad to accept a business promotion there. I visited them that summer and was floored by Austin from the outset. It was always painful to have to leave Austin after visiting and go back to the boring college town in Tennessee where I was in school. So, last summer I packed up everything I could fit into my car and headed for Texas. I commuted for a year from Austin, but this year I will be living here in San Marcos.
I don't have a favorite typeface, but for blogs and body text, Courier is a very readable type. It's very professional and utilizes a good balance between minimalism and more decorative typefaces. Because of this even keel, it works well with a diverse range of other type and imagery.
