Shepard Fairey is part street artist part designer. He created the Iconic Obama HOPE poster. He has his own studio called No. 1 design and graduated from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. He tackles the issues of public art, iconography, and positive and negative propaganda in his art. His design style has become iconic and readily identifiable. He has come full circle from enemy of the law and corporate business to being asked to design for big name movies, bands, and businesses as well as being asked to share his art in public places.
