This is an audio interview with Aaron Draplin of Draplin Design Co in Portland, OR. Aaron does work for a lot snowboarding companies such as Union Bindings, Grenade Gloves, Snowboard Magazine and other clients such as Nike and most recently for President Obama and his TIGER program.
In the interview Aaron talks about how he got into design, his first design jobs and going back to design school to earn his degree. He also talks about how he feels designers need to make sure they put their heart into every project and how to handle clients and vendors. The interview is pretty long, but Aaron is so passionate about what he is talking about and keeps it really interesting. I've listened to this interview a few times and really enjoy it. Check it out.
