The person I chose for this journal is Benn Burtt, who is a sound designer. The video shows some of his amazing talents of putting sounds of any kind into movies. In this video, you get to see a little bit of the life he lives and his library of sounds that he uses for the Pixar movie Wall E. He has also done sounds for movies such as Star Wars (1977), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, winning many awards.
Even though I don't know anything about sound design, I thought it was a very interesting video. It is always crazy how sounds are put into any movies because the designers can use what ever they can find around them to create something new. I think that is a great art and talent to be able to use objects and people around you to make your project successful.
