The PlayStation logo was created by Manabu Sakamoto, who also created the logo for Sony's VAIO computer products. I feel it's just really solid, and represents that the playstation is a 3d game console. tI have always liked this lettermark, ever since I first got my playstation and Spyro the Dragon for my 12th birthday. To 12 year old me, this was the symbol for fun.
