Dan Duffy is a freelance artist from Philadelphia who began creating word illustrations by hand in 2008 when he wanted to combine his conceptual creativity with his artistic talent. He depicts great moments in sports and history through the use of type. Duffy's sports images include the date, score and opponent of every game of the team's championship season.
