David Carson directed by Hilmann Curtis

i LOVE david carson. i think he has to be one of my favorite designers. i first heard about him in design seminar class last semester and agree with a lot of the things he says about designing. i like how he says that you need to show your personality in your work so your work can describe who you are. he feels that "self indulgent" is a positive term for your work. he likes to interpret what he reads.

... just because something is legible doesnt mean it communicates....

i recommend everyone just watch this interview at least once..
