Vincent Proj 3 Roughs
My idea for these came from one of my hobbies, rock climbing. It's been my way to relax after a stressful day for many years. I wanted to show how climbing makes you focus on what you are doing at that very moment and nothing else. I also wanted to show how stressful a day can be. These are still in the rough stage but I think they capture the basic idea.

The area on the bottom one seems to have a sense of depth and visual space. For being roughs the bottom seems to be more rendered than the top one. The bottom one makes me feel as if I could rock climb or as if the person is about to fall down. Have you considered added in the straps to the person, maybe it would give it a better sense of reality? Just a thought. The phrase could be placed in a dirt manner, but I am not sure how you want to place that with your composition. Make the words on the bottom of the wall a little less bold possibly, for that would seem the easier part to climb which is the bottom and then of course it gets harder and bolder towards the top just like you have. As for the top image, it looks like monkey bars, someone hanging and climbing to the next bar. It doesn’t seem as strong and just looks as if you are hanging on to your routine day. Work on your ground on the bottom one and emphasize more on your wall. The whole idea of climbing upward is a good concept.
