Belcher Proj3 roughs

I wanted to portray a tornado effect destroying things that I need to get done. The words in the tornado are things that take up my time or affect things that I would like to get done and the words being torn through are the words that I need to get done. I don't know if there is enough difference between the tornado and the other words. I would also like to know thoughts about the different sizes of swirls in the tornado or any ideas about the other small words.

  1. Leanne,

I think this is a pretty cool idea, and it looks like you’re on a great start with it. The tornado itself looks pretty good. I say you shouldn’t change that. Maybe the spiral could be a little more refined, and more natural, but it’s not a big thing.

Mostly though, it’s the words that are being disturbed by the tornado. They just aren’t disturbed enough, or this is just a really wimpy tornado. They should be flying all over the place. They should be sideways and upside-down and broken in half, and some bigger and some smaller, maybe in italics etcetera.

I also feel like it needs some sort of horizon line as well, just to add some depth to the image. It seems like it’s all just floating right now.

If you can fix those minor things, I think you’ve got something pretty good here.
